Editorial Policy
Rita's articles are created to be useful, accurate, respectful, and easy to understand.
Effective July 8, 2026.
Writing standards
Articles use US spelling and terminology. They aim to respect older adults as individuals and avoid jokes or assumptions about age, appearance, memory, health, mobility, or independence.
Sources and accuracy
Health-related or caregiver content is based on reputable primary sources or recognized nonprofit organizations. Sources are linked where they materially support an article. Content avoids unsupported medical, cognitive, financial, or therapeutic claims.
Commercial content
Articles may naturally mention a relevant Rita Dennison book. Book links are clearly identified and lead to the website's book page or Amazon. This is not an affiliate website, and recommendations are not based on affiliate commission.
Reviews and reader quotations
Amazon reviews are reproduced only when republication and attribution requirements have been confirmed. Review wording is never corrected, combined, or rewritten, though a quote may be shortened, and every quote links to the book's Amazon reviews page.
Corrections and updates
Articles may be reviewed when guidance changes or a factual issue is identified. Questions or correction requests can be sent to hello@ritadennison.com.
